Sloane Stephens Odds
The USA has long been looking for a female tennis player as an heir to Serena Williams' throne and Sloane Stephens appears to be a readymade replacement. Stephens actually got the better of Williams en route to the semi-finals of the 2013 Australian Open and she is being touted as a Grand Slam winner in the making.
Stephens is strong on the ground and a very adept at volleying, which would appear to make her an ideal fit for the grass courts of Wimbledon. Stephens reached the quarter-finals at SW19 in 2013 but she crashed out in the first round to Maria Kirilenko in 2014 and she has struggled to make much of an impression on the women's tour during the last few years, although she is trying to rebuild her 2017 season following foot surgery.
